I was victim to the World trade centre for 3 years - contacted standard bank and they were quick to wash their hands of it saying I signed a debit order! I did not! Standard bank also gave me the incorrect contact for the company debiting my account. Eventually i sorted the problem out but lost 3 yrs of debit order fees to STANDARD BANK!
NOW - I have another unauthorized debit to my account -from EDU learn - R48 and R348 today! I am charged for these debits! I want to see proof of the debit order submitted to standard that I apparently signed.
I've been with Standard bank since 1998 and I am disappointed that you have done NOTHING to protect your customers from of this kind!
Stop passing the buck and sort it out!
