Ripping off the Custome

FNB GOLD CREDIT ACCOUNT 4901 #

I have never spent over the limit on my straight or my budget facility. The only reason the limit is exceeded on my straight facility is because the budget instalment in the sum of R 1435.41 is being transferred to the straight facility. Your Call Centre has advised me that I need to have sufficient funds in the account. How is this possible, for this to happen, when you are transferring the instalment and you are requesting for the said instalment and same is being paid by debit order. The only way I can prevent this from happening is if I spend only up to R 10500.00 as a limit on my straight facility even though there is a limit in the sum of R 12000.00.are kindly requested to reverse the fee of R 230.00 charged.

In order to prevent a recurrence of this nature I have paid the sum of R 3000.00 into the straight facility, today.

The only response I have received is that "in future you'll receive an SMS alert when your balance falls below R 250.00, reminding you to deposit enough funds to cover your pending debits" The fee of R 230.00 hasn't been reversed.
