BILLED FOR A CARD WITHOUT BEING ADVISED

Standard Bank has to be the worst bank in SA. Changing my surname has been the most annoying and frustrating experience and making me wish I never banked with such incompetent people. Firstly the consultant who dealt with my name change was useless so I asked him to print something showing my name change and the guy charges me R15 for a statement WITHOUT TELLING ME! Then he doesnt change all my details preoperly so all statments are going to an old email. Then I note on my statement that I have been charged R76 for an ATM replacement card! I WAS NEVER ADVISED OF THIS! How dare I be charged for something I was not advised of! This is unacceptable. I have logged yet another call for the Manager of the Fourways Crossing branch to call me immediately. How can a bank be so completely useless? Moving banking forward - what a laugh! Moving customers to other banks more like it! I am seething about the audacity of STD Bank! You CANNOT charge someone for something without telling them about it! Capitec here I come!
