I noticed this morning that Standard Bank has charged me an additional R9.00 for posting my bank statement when this service has been included in my Account charges in the past. This additional cost was levied without informing me or giving me the option to change. I log on the banking website regularly and have never received information that I was going to be charged an additional R9.00 nor did I receive an email or a letter informing me of this change. With over 10 million customers (at a guess) this is a quick and underhanded way of increasing revenue. Shame on you Standard Bank.
