Purchased R500 FNB Connect airtime instead of Vodacom airtime on my Blackberry banking app about 1 and a half years ago. Could not use it on the BB. Got an iPhone about 1 month ago and decided to use the airtime. FNB Connect Call Centre had to help configure a new app called Zoiper which I downloaded from app store on their instruction. Since then my issue started. Most calls go through but the person on the other side cannot hear you, other times the timer ticks away after calling the number, as if connected, but the call sounds like tis not connected. And if you are lucky you can make a full call without being cut. I called FNB Connect last week and demanded a refund for the inferior product. The manager firstly promised to investigate and call back within 2 hours which she did not then when she did call back said the technicians could not find fault. Obviously the customer is always wrong from their point of view. I then decided to email FNBs complaint mailbox asking who I could escalate the matter to and specifically asked not to be sent to FNB Connect management again... I did get a response to my email saying they sent the matter to... wait for it... FNB Connect management.
