My home was burgled at 02:20 while we (wife & myself) was sleeping. removed non open window from aluminium frame that does not have burglar bars. crawled into house so that beams of alarm does not register them. wife's handbag with documents (bank cards, shopping cards, ID and driver's licence), her watch, my cell phone from dining room and then the 32" samsung led HD TV before escaping through the window they entered. The alarm was only triggered after they had to stand up to remove the TV. I got up to investigate in the dark of the house and noticed that there was a burglary. Armed response (Roman) came out and SAPS. SAPS was first on the scene. Thank you to Outsurance for prompt reimbursement. Our claim was sorted within 4 - 5 hours. WE are thankful that we are still fine. material things can be replaced but not lives. I am now going to place full burglar bars the whole size of my window frames throughout my house.
