Nedbank Homeloans Misleading & False Information

I would like to make the public aware not to believe anything home loan consultant Angela van den Berg tells you when negotiating an interest rate for your home loan. We got told, and I quote: "as discussed with you yesterday we can after 7 months of Registration of the Bond re-apply for a deduction in Rate for you again. I have done it recently for one of my other Clients and we got a better rate for them". I recently contacted Nedbank to apply for a deduction just to be told that interest rate negotiations are not part of Nedbank's standard business practice. We were put under a false impression & would not have signed with Nedbank if we knew that rate negotiation is not possible once the bond contract is signed especially because we had a better rate offered from another bank. Clearly Angela was pushing us to accept the rate offered at that point in time to secure the deal hence making this false statement to us that such a re-negotiations can be done. I got told that no undertaking/promise or commitment was made that the Bank will reduce the the rate or that the Bank will improve on the current, so the request got declined. BEWARE OF NEDBANK AND IT'S UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE"S
