E Bucks error!!!

Good day

I recently opened up an FNB cheque account and was told that I will automatically qualify for E Bucks and that if I swipe my card for a number of times after receipt of the card I will get additional E Bucks. I subsequently received about 12 000 E Bucks which I used to shop with. Now my E Bucks account is currently showing a negative balance and when I called FNB am told they made a "mistake" and that they erroneously allocated me 5000 more E Bucks. Every time I use my card now am not earning any E Bucks as they all go towards off-setting the negative balance.

FNB admits that they made a mistake and now should I pay for their mistakes?
