Paid my account on 25 September, about two weeks later the monies were not reflecting on my African Bank account. Went one day to the Kenilworth branch to query, they then said that I should get a statement as proof as they could not see the payment. Got the statement from my bank, I had paid it into the African bank account however I had used the incorrect reference number. With my proof in hand, I took it back to the African bank branch and they sent it to the call centre and told me that it should take 48hrs for the monies to be allocated and reflect. After a week, nothing reflecting, I called them again. This time they promised to resolve the issue and again said 48hrs later. It is now almost a week and a half later. Called them today, was advised that they cannot pick it up on the system and I must get another statement and fax it to them... besides there high interest rates on outstanding balances they have time to waste my time, I work shifts and don't have the time to run around going over the whole process all over again besides it's again almost time for this months installment...
