ACCOUNT IN ARREARS - BUT HAVE NO ACCOUNT

To whom It may concern,

I had a Nedbank account for numerous years, then moved over to another bank.
My account was closed at N1 City Branch, and all money that was remaining in my account was given in cash back to me.

The consultant that assisted me (very helpful) cut up my card in the branch and threw it away. This all happened in July 2013 - until today I keep getting SMS's advising me that my bank account is in arrears and threatening that further steps will be taken if not paid soon.

after numerous attempt to phone nedbank call centre they keep passing the buck, and no one can help me.

Please assist ASAP as this needs to be sorted. I don't even have a bank card anymore as it was thrown away by your staff!
