In February 2013 my husband reported cracks in the exterior wall which resulted to the wall tiles, paint and plaster to peel off. Two week after reporting an assessor was sent to the house. After that it was quiet. I (wife) phoned them on the 22 April 2013 to make a followup. They indicated that there is dampness in the house and the Insurance does not cover dampness, I asked them to respond in writing. We only received a response (dated 15 August 2013) on the last week of September 2013 which says "In view of the
above your policy will be endorsed to exclude damage to the pool until we receive proof that the pool cracks have been attended to. The insurance does not cover the cost of maintaining or securing your home" We got confused by the response because there is no pool in the house or we not sure what are they referring to when they talk about damage to the pool. What is worse on their response there is no name of the person who wrote the letter only the signature.
