Unfortunately after I couldn't pay my debt I got some bad advice that I must join debt review.for a whole year I did.and when I saw it fit I paid all my accounts and left with capitec loan. I went back to them in april pleading if I can continue paying my account as it was the only account I was left with. I sent in all the necessary documents but capitec refused and said I can't pay my account.they are handing me over to their lawyers.in june I started paying vertexi got numbers from capitec and tried to call vertex but they didn't respond. I wrote to hellopeter and got my report in a day.and they called me.vertex is charging me 14% each month and capitec is charging me 27% of the initial loan.all this after a begged to pay my account right and they refused.maybe they are just giving vertex moneyu but what about us.what about all south africans going through the same plight? every month the money I owe escelates as if I am not paying anything.and capitec was one of the best banks.how can they do this! I can afford to pay my account but was not given a chance do so.
