I used to have my house structural insurance with FNB via my homeloan. I cancelled this insurance in December 2011 and provided FNB with my new insurance details. However, unbeknown to me, FNB continued debiting my account with the insurance premiums. When I raised this with FNB's call centre in June 2013 I was refunded one months premiums and not the balance on the 18 months or so premiums I was charged. It is now 4 months later and dozens of calls to the FNB call centre and they still have not refunded my premiums. I get the runaround by their call centre agents promising to have the issue resolved and promising to call me with more information regarding my refund. invariably nobody calls me. This is a poor reflection on FNB!!
