FNB Insurance reneges on refunding premiums paid

I submitted a claim for refund of insurance premiums paid to FNB Insurance through debit order for two vehicles that were transferred to other owners in 2010. The basis of the claim was that I sold the two vehicles and bought a new one, and instructed FNB Insurance telephonically to change the policy cover accordingly, but this was not done. The premiums have not been refunded yet, despite submission of all documents requested by FNB Insurance. Instead, I have been requested to submit a stamped vehicle transfer document from JMPD/Vehicle Dealer, disregarding the invoice with date of purchase of a new car and trade-in of the old car, proof of new insurance by the new owner for the other car, etc. What a run-around!!! What else must one do to get their premiums refunded by FNB? Go to court or the Insurance Ombudsman? This is definitely not the way to treat customers! Despite all the efforts made to submit proof, FNB Insurance continues to unfairly put the onus on me to prove beyond reasonable doubt that I should be refunded the said premiums. What is the purpose of recording client calls and logging changes on a database computer system if FNB Insurance will not use these records?
