I recently did a credit check on my name to ensure that everything was in order. Only to find that African Bank had blacklisted me for an account I made arrangements to pay. As I had stopped payment due to losing a job and with insurance only covering retrenchment. I've made numerous calls to all divisions within the bank including collections and according to them the account is reflecting as active and is being paid as per agreement. Nobody at African bank can give me a clear indication of what to do as this has effected my profile in a detrimental way.
