No payment reflecting on ITC

Can someone please assist me. My loan account is in areas for more than 180 days. I made arrangements in Jan this year to pay R360 per month. I paid from Jan since August. As of September, I stopped paying. My reason been that it still shows that no payment has been made on the account. ITC say that they can only update it, if the account is fully paid. So weather I pay R360 or R2000 a month, it wont make a difference. It will only be updated when the account is fully paid. Is it not possible for African Bank to write up another agreement and treat it as a new account. Can you not scrap the old account with ITC. I cannot get any loans or buy anything bcos of this.
