Life policy nightmare!

I called FNB over a month ago to cancel my mortgage protection plan as I had taken out a new policy. I was told to fill in some paperwork as send back to them and that someone will get back to me once the information was processed. I sent my forms in on the 16th September @ 8:41 AM and to date no-one has gotten back to me. I called a week later and was told that someone will contact me and again, NOTHING! I called again on 4/10/2013 and the call centre for Housing finance was on a team building day and there was no-one that can assist me, I was told I need to call back the next day or the following week for assistance. I then call the FNB complaints department and the lady directed my call back to the same Housing finance call centre where no-one was available to assist me! And through all this I have been charged for the month!
I then received a call from OUTsurance who tell me that FNB contacted them for a change on my policy that will cost me an additional R174 per month. I made it clear to OUTsurance that I am agreeing to nothing until I speak to someone who knows anything about home loans from FNB.I am still waiting for FNB to contact me.
