Months of waiting for feedback with no results

I have submitted complaints about Standard Bank numerous times in the past six months about a transaction that managed to happen over two of my credit card accounts. This in itself is incompetence enough as it was one transaction which to me means just one of the accounts should have been used. The issue has since not been resolved. I phone every three weeks to find out what is happening. I get SMSs telling me the issue has been resolved and invariably I am called a week later demanding payment of the full amount, yes it has happened three times now. The last complaint I logged on Hellopeter has not even garnered a response from Standard Bank. I receive emails telling me they will be in touch but nothing happens after that. The accounts have since accumulated interest for which they will hold me liable. I am close to being put on the slow payers list because of this incompetence. They are starting to impact my credit record and they do not give a about that. I need to instigate responses only to get the old 'We will get back to you as soon as possible' schtick. The simply do not respond at all. STAY CLEAR OF THIS BANKING INSTITUTION!!
