I will not pay for your idiocy

A month ago i received an email stating that i was behind on my cheq account after going through my online banking i noted that fnb had let debit orders go through for a few months without any money in the account or without consent from me to let them through and to put the account in arrears now fnb is threatening me with legal action if i don't pay.

I will not pay for the debit orders that went through as i did not give fnb consent to let them to go through on an account with no money in it.

i don't use the account anymore and i haven't used the account in months as i switched over to capitec seeing as fnb charges me over R100 a month to keep the account and charges me an excessive amount for debit orders not going through to the amount of R136 .

i will also no pay for the charges related to the debit orders not going through as i switched them to capitec in march 2012 and doing so countless other times via the phone and still the debit orders wasn't changed that belonged to fnb services.
