Totaly shocking service from day 1

I have been with one plan for about 3 years. Never uses my policy as I don't get sick often. A year ago my son was born. I phoned them about 3 months before the birth and asked the should I start paying to add him on to the insurance so he will be covered at birth. I was told no, just let us know when he is born and he will be covered. So he was born phoned them 15min later telling them to add him on my police they said that he is covered. when it came to pay the doctor I was told that they only cover as soon as he is discharged, so I paid it!!! Every visit from there to the doctors we have to send through receipts or they suspend the policy. Now in Aug my son had to go for a emergency operation. My debit order didn't't go through on month end and I made arrangements for it to go off on the 26 of August and paid dbl instalment Aug & Sep. I phoned and confirmed that everything will be sorted for the op. I was told everything will be fine as it takes 3 days to reactivate the policy. on the day of the op I was told sorry they cant approve as it takes 10 days to reactivate. I paid 15k and claimed it back, it is now Oct and still waiting for the money. Useless
