Pathetic, Unprofessional and Dont-Care Service

Despite several phone calls and emails to Wonga, it is apparent that their service ethic and customer centricity values are non-existent. From basic requests for an update on the clearance of my account, to simple email confirmation of the settlement of my account, these mandatory tasks as a "responsible" credit provider are seriously lacking! It's has now been over two weeks since I was promised that my account will be updated and closed, after payment was made. I had to make another call three days ago (costs in excess of R30 per call due to the constant unavailbility of their "friendly credit team"!), where I was repeatedly assured by Keenan that my account is up to date and this will be closed in 48 hours (yesterday). Needless to say, this has not transpired. One need only peruse this site to realise the incompetency of Wonga. It is extemely disconcerting that this shoddy company is getting away with deplorable service with impunity, and absolute silence from the National Credit Regulator and associated bodies. Their systems and values need to be investigated and rectified by legal processes which will force them to comply timeously without leaving customers in the lurch.
