Not so Helpful Automated System

My cheque card expires end October and I was planning to go into the bank on Friday to request a new card but also to update my Surname. I got an sms now stating that a card is ready for collection at the Centurion branch (where I opened up my account.) I phoned the call centre and was informed that this is automated and they automatically send it to the branch you opened up y our account. However helpfull FNB thinks this might be, I don't live in the Centurion area anymore... I didn't request a card... what happened if I was staying in Cape Town? I would think wasting money on printing of cards would be an issue? Maybe rather phone the client first? Can someone phone me as I would like to cancell the card that was sent. As I want to go into the bank and change my surname (because I know that they won't do it over email).
