I recently opened a cheque account with Standard bank Woodmead. I was told that I'd be informed via sms when my card was ready for collection which i was, However I was informed that my card was ready for collection at the Rivonia branch. I called on the 18/10/13 to ask that they please have my card ready for collection at the branch which I had opened the account with They said it would take 7 working days to which I agreed. Today I called in to just check if my cards was in-transit and it appears that its still at the Rivonia branch and the person I spoke with said there was no indication that the card would be sent to Woodmead.

This is really unacceptable. I opened the account at in Woodmead because that was the closest branch to me and now find myself having to go to Rivonia to pick the card up. I'm sorry, cant do. Will someone please see to it that my card is available for collection at the Woodmead branch by Friday please.
