After being burgled whilst being asleep with the alarm on, and giving my statement to the police, I phoned the insurance to claim, not having any of the original receipts any longer for the goods that was, the very condescending CC agent (robert meyer) informed me that I would receive only the minimum payout even though my premium has risen with 25% since joining 4 years ago, and only have claimed once for a a minor vehicle incident. This very agent never replies to any emails, however expected me to retrieve the statement from the police in person and send all info I had on the goods, and terminated the a phone conversation. Other insurance companies don't make you jump through hoops when claiming, especially with a low claim rate like mine. If that was not enough my high premium comes with a R2k excess. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. When asking if the other supporting info on the TV set would be enough to get the money back for my TV at least, he answered "send what you have I will decide". How can CC agents' discretion be trusted for claim advice. I am appalled. Other reputable companies have assessors at least. worst insurance and CC agents!!
