After our house has been broken in to, I am struggling to get Auto and General to pay out my insurance claim. They even have the audacity to not pay out the specified products on my claim sheet. One of the items on there is my MacBook. They require a proof of purchase (which was in the laptop bag and was as well). Apparently its a policy of theirs... So where was that policy when they took my higher premium each month due to specified products??? I don't understand this. We pay these companies so that in situations like this, we are covered, not to battle and fight to get payments out of them. All of us are busy with our lives and we expect the companies to sort these things out for us. We pay for that service and assurance. It seems like that is too much to ask from AUTO & GENERAL insurance. Utterly utterly disappointed!!!
