I had a funeral cover with Old mutual. I claimed on the 18th of Sept, the lady at enquires was super friendly, only to meet up with an arrogant consultant after. He was so bossy and arrogant. In the end he said that payments will be made as soon as head office sent them values. On the 20th I made a follow up call only to get even shocking treatment from the lady who picked up the phone, (I decided to record the conversation!) As it turned out she promised a turnaround time of 3 days. Today is the 1st of October, yet no payments and nothing to report. Now I am being sent from pillar to post!! What is happening?
