Denied access to slow lounge

While on my way back from holiday with my wife, we decided to check in a bit earlier so we could relax in the slow lounge. As a platinum account holder I knew that I would get in free but I would need to pay for my wife, which was fine. However, when I got to the slow lounge I was told that my wife could not enter, which according to fnb's website is rubbish as I can just pay for the guest.

Now being stuck in the airport for 2 hours I decided to call fnb and verify this. While on the call I was told that even I do not qualify for the lounge as I didn't have a large enough deposit into my account, which again is rubbish. My salary alone covers the minimum required deposit.

Overall I am very disappointed with the service provided by fnb.
