Outrageous Bank Costs

I recently moved from ABSA to FNB as I was not happy with ABSA's banking service at all.
For the time being I could not fault FNB on most of their services. But imagine my surprise when I went through my bank statement this morning, and see that FNB charged me R44.00 for a over the counter statement request.
This I needed as proof of my new banking details. This is really exuberant, and one has no other choice as you need the bank stamp on these documents.
One already pay bank costs, and if you only request 2 per year, I feel this is a cost that can be included in your bank cost, as it is something required by law when changing banking details at any of ones other suppliers.

I sincerely hope you will revisit this type of cost, as this is really way too much to ask for 3 printed pages that one can get over the Internet except now for the much needed bank stamp to confirm it authenticity.
