Hugely disappointed with FNB insurance brokers!
Let me explain;
I received a call yesterday (30/09/2013) - To inform me that FNB are changing underwriters from M & F to Auto and General. Along with the move, my premiums are going to increase from R1295.04 pm to R3600pm. What!? A roughly R2300 pm increase
Now here is the catch - apparently, a letter and email were sent to all the clientele a month ago - I have received no such letter, nor email. FNB insurance clearly have my correct email address, so no problem there. I received absolutely no prior notice
All I received was a phone call on the 30/09/2013, to inform me of such a change - now bear in mind my debit order is on the 2nd of each month. That left me two days to either re-assess my finances, or find alternative insurance. TWO DAYS!!
Anyhow - I am not all too surprised, as the service from FNB insurance leaves much to be desired. When I claimed in May, I was transferred from pillar to post. It seems that no one there is geared up or trained
I am a loyal FNB banking client, and a happy one at that - however, FNB insurance does FNB no justice!
FNB insurance has not been a joyful experience at all
Poor form!
