No feedback on motor accident claim

I was involved in a car accident on 12 September 2013. I phoned my insurance and they were very helpful and sent a breakdown to come and fetch the car. I called again to register a claim and spoke to a lady by the name of Refiloe who gave me her number which goes unanswered everyday (011) 777 7315. I faxed through the documents she required from me and she didn't have the decency to acknowledge receipt thereof. Today is 01 October 2013, I don't know what is going on because the number I was given keeps ringing off the hook. I am not sure if my car is going to be fixed or written off because no-one is telling me anything. I would like to have someone tell me what is going on and what else is expected from me. I last spoke to Assessors two weeks ago who said they were going to assess the car at SMD Polokwane (I hope the car wasn't written off without my knowledge).
