Standard Bank
ZERO COMMUNICATION

THIS IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT STANDARD INSURANCE LIMITED. IT KEEPS CHANGING ITSELF IN THE RELEVENT BOXES.
On 21 October, I was in a motor accident, where someone rammed into the back of me. I reported the accident to my Insurance Co, Standard Insurance. They assured me someone would contact me. I waited ALL day, and eventually only spoke to someone after 3pm, after I phoned again. Later that evening, I received an email, telling me my claim no. Also, an sms to tell me the name of the assessing company. On Tues 22/10/2013 I submitted my diagram and description of the accident, along with the AR number. They did not bother to acknowledge that either. On Friday 25/10/2013 I received an sms saying that the assessor's report was complete, and was being reviewed. I've no idea who the sms was from. I called Standard Insurance on Tues 29/10/2013 to find out what is going on. When I complained that nobody has contacted me - ever - they apologised. That's it. Not another word. 2 weeks have gone by. I don't even know where my car is, much less the damages, and the cost there of, and the status of my claim. I have no idea who to turn to, or what to do next.
