No response from FNB

I received an sms that i could increase my credit card limit, i applied for a limit increase on the 13 September 2013 and it was pre approved. i was told to send through a copy of my payslip which i sent on the 14th September. On the 18th I called to follow up on my application to my surprise i was told my payslip was not clear but no one mentioned this to me. I faxed and emailed another copy on the same day. On the 19th i called to find out if they had received my payslip and i was told yes and it has been sent through for authorisation and i will get my response on monday the 23rd. On monday no response was recieved. I phoned FNB on the 25th to enquire about the application was simply told that my application was recaptured and it was declined. I asked the consultant as to why i was not notified and she simply said she doesnt know. what kind of service is really being offered here? If one has to keep following up? When it suits them them they can send you an sms to tell you that you qualify for an increase. thereafter its your responsibility to keep phoning them to get feedback. its rather disappointing.
