Limit Increase

In 2012 I applied for and offered a credit card with a limit of R5000. Then last week, I applied for a loan, and was also told that I was being offered a limit increase of R2, 500 to R7, 500. I even got an sms to that effect (which I have unfortunately deleted) and was told by the agent who called me to complete my application.

I completed the forms and received an sms informing me both my loan and my credit increase of R2, 500 had been approved and paid out. To my surprise, when I went to the atm today, my balance was 1750. I called the call centre and I was told that I was only given an increase of R1500, which raised my new limit to R7, 500 because I had a previous balance of R6000. Now this is utterly false.

I want to know - 1) who increased the limit to R6, 000 since I never signed for it. 2) I have been paying R510 per month, but will only have R250 available, and at times nothing at all. 3) When will the remainder of my R2, 500 be paid into my account because that is what I signed up for.

I do expect a prompt response please.
