FNB not delivering on advertised product

I opened an acc with FNB to qualify for promotion they ran which ended July. Call centre lady (Faranaaz not sure about name) told me the promotion ended and I am 2 days late. I informed her the only reason i will open the acc is for the Smart-phone contract promotion. She responded she will see what she can do to assist me.
She later called to say she they made an exception for me. I agreed to open this acc on that basis. She informed me that all our discussions are recorded for our protection. I have been issued with a cheque Acc card and a S4 Smart-phone but not on contract of R299pm as agreed but rather pay as you go. I enquired and was told by Ms Mohideen that they can not find the conversation between myself and the person who recruited me to open the acc. However the acc was opened and I have received the phone without the contract. She told me she no longer can assist me will ask her superiors to call me, no response till now.
So either the salesperson to me to get my business or FNB dealt in bad faith by not honouring the deal as advertised. I am considering closing the acc but they will not take back the phone. I hope you can assist in solving this problem.
