I was notified via my son's phone - of owing some company money for over 2 years for orthopeadic equipment supposedly purchased from Weidehoff orthopeadic suppliers. I never purchased anything from these people although I did have a foor operation 2 years back when they did try and sell me some shoe which I refused. As I did not purchase anything, I clearly did not receive any account from them.
I contacted Creditworx and was informed that I had been blacklisted as a result. I have never heard, received any accounts or anything re this before nor do I owe any company any money. On asking why I was contacted via my son - they informed me that they didn't have my contact details and on asking about my address - a completely wrong address was on their record. I asked how they can just blacklist a person without getting substantiation for so-called debt - when the call was disconnected. I tried phoning back without success. I
sent Weidehoff supliers a mail re this matter but have not had any feedback. This is ridiculous and illegal to just blacklist a person without validation. Legal steps need be taken to stop this company from just taking matters in their own hands!
