My DUT account was handed over to Creditworx for an amount of R8986.62, who contacted me in september for me to settle the account. End September they sent me the amount owing, 3 October I paid R4000 into their account and following that I paid another amount to settle the account on 7th October (R4986.62). Now I have been receiving sms's that I am owing R5423.24 on the 7th November 2013... I ignored these sms's because when I called Creditworx after making the final payment, I was told I can ignore the sms's if I have paid the account in full. 11 November 13 I received a call from them stating that i owe them 4hundred and something. I truly do not understand why these people are not doing their accounts properly because I dont owe them a cent and even DUT has released my results, which means I dont owe anybody. Another call has been received from Creditworx today 20th November 2013 stating I owe four hundered and odd rands, i refuse to pay this money that these people are saying I owe because I have paid them in full. If Creditworx doesn't stop it with these sms's and calls I will hand them over to Ombudsman and my lawyers!!!
