I took out a loan R3500 from African Bank 3 weeks ago at George Meade Street in the western Cape. I provided them with all the documentation and even singed an agreement. I was promised call backs (to this day), and did not get any feedback. (now I have called both call centers and branch ample times.
However I applied yesterday and qualified again. I asked for the person: "Andiswa" from Call Center to give the branch a call and re-activate the loan application, which she gladly did. She was suppose to call be back and again no feedback. I called the call center who said she would call me, but no avail. However I believe it was previously rejected because they could not confirm my employment, strange thing, I have been with this company for over 4 years!! However I gave them numbers to contact my Employer to confirm this, but I have not got any feedback from them. I have always paid my accounts on time and thought this would count for at least something..
I basically want to know what the problem is, why do I not get any feedback? Must I leave this loan application rather and apply somewhere else?
