Correct interest rate not reflecting on applicatio

I contacted Standard Bank a while back when we looked at purchasing a new house with only one difference.
I did my application through my private banker. I was told that private banking will allow me to get a more competitive interest rate.
The interest rate they came back with was prime 0.54%.
I wanted prime as a minimum.
My private banker lodged an application for us, and after a few weeks (not days) we were sent an email by our private banker stating that we were granted a prime rate. (13 September)
I called home loans a few days later to confirm this, as I did not receive any sms or email feedback from them, and the bond and transfer attorney's were getting very ansy.
This was on Monday - 16 September. The lady at the call center checked my account and told me that the system still reflected a rate of prime 0.54%, but she saw a note stating that the rate of prime was granted. She said that it will still need to b changed and then we will be contacted.
I contacted home loans again today (18 September) and spoke to another agent. She stated that the rate still reflects prime 0.54% but she could not see any note about the rate about to be or going to changed to prime.
