I have submitted a motor car claim to ABSA on 19th August 2013, If I don't call Absa then I would have no response from them at all. Two consultants called me on Tuesday only because I emailed a complaint to the department. The only response I got was, we will finalise as soon as possible.
Here is another way Absa can things up:
I got a letter from their bond insurance department saying that they have cancelled my policy. I did not give anyone any instruction to cancel this policy. A consultant came to see us about three months ago to give us a better policy, instead they cancelled it. I received mail from them last week that was sent to another customer who opened the mail wrote a note on the letter and then sent it to me, makes me wonder how much of my mail has ended up in someone else mail box. this is so pathetic I really cant wait for the claim to be settled so that I can take my business somewhere else.
