When I bought my property in July 2011, I was informed by the attorneys that I had to sign the documentation that say I want insurance on my property and you can always cancel it later. I had to e-mail all documentation (policy document, your insurance policy no., your bond account number and absa insurance policy number). Which I send through on the 25th of August 2011. I send another mail on the 1st of September 2011 to a Lauren Randles with a response of "If the documents have been sent to us it will be handled". At this stage I am paying two policies on my house. On the 8th of November 2011 I send another mail to Lauren Randles with a reply of "You can contact the vetting department to follow up." I then forgot about the whole issue thinking it was handled. In August of 2012 ABSA deducted the year premium again, which I resend all documentation to Lauren Randles, Wensley Arends. For the first time I received feedback stating that their is more doc. they needed, which was send to them. They came back to me stating that the insurance I am paying at Mutual & Federal was not good enough because it states ABSA vehicle and asset Finance and not ABSA Homeloans on the policy. Waiting
