I wrote to ABSA via E-mail to inform them that I have now received a better quote for Building Insurance for the home I bought through an ABSA Home Loan. I decided to purchase the new insurance and cancel my ABSA insurance. I sent proof of the new insurance purchased.
I requested in the E-mail that ABSA send me proof of cancellation of the policy with ABSA. It has been a week now and I have still received no repsonse whatsoever from ABSA. This worries me, because I am scared that I might be charged twice for insurance this month.
If someone at ABSA could please help me with this.
