I have been a client of ABSA for the past 25 years, in February 2013 I decided to move my insurance portfolio to ABSA as well.
End September 2013 we were involved in a vehicle accident and went throught the procedure of the claim. During this process we had to constantly contact ABSA for updates as no one of ABSA bothered to once contact us.
After about 10 days I received a letter from ABSA stating that my claim is repudiated and the policy is being cancelled, this was done without any consultation with me. When contacting them I was told that it was due to non disclosure which is utter nonsense. I promptly received a call from ABSA call centre offering to repay all my premuims, obviously this was done to escape from their responcibilities.
I logged a complaint with the ABSA complaints department and at this stage almost 2 months later, STILL no word from ABSA. Their advirtising campain YOU PROSPER is against everything that I have exprerienced
