I moved over to FNB after all their incredible marketing initiatives. When my accounts were approved I decided to get a smart device, which I selected online as well as that I wanted additional insurance. It was approved and I received my phone a few weeks later. My phone was after paying only one installment on the phone, I then call up to find out if I can claim for the phone. I was then told that no I didnt pick insurance, my response to them was that I wanted a copy of the online agreement between myself and FNB. I have called the insurance division back 4 times over the last 2 weeks, to be told each time that they would get back to me as soon as they have received the online agreement from FNB. I am still waiting and no feedback has been given.
They spend all this money on advertising, however once you move over to them you cannot get any feedback from them. I am entitled to a copy of the contract as per the consumer protection act.
I will now pay the full amount owing on the smart device, close my accounts and move back to ABSA as FNB do not deserve my business.
