Standard Bank Business Donavan is Unprofessional

I am a Private Banking Client who has recently opened a separate Business Banking Account. This was being managed by someone in the branch who I think is very professional. I had the misfortune of being called by Donavan at 09h00 starting the conversation with me as if he is a friend. Firstly one does not call in a professional capacity asking " Hi, is that xxxx". Especially when xxx is an abbreviated version of my first name!! We are not friends, and only friends call me an abbreviated version of my first name. Secondly, when you call from a bank, please teach your staff to FIRST identify who they are, before asking " is that xxxx". A Miss/ Mrs/Dr would be great, especially since we are not friends with the banking consultants. I write this, as I am very offended that Donavan (who I have never met, and have no dealings with) thought he could call me, and chat as if we are buddies. This is not my experience in my 8 years with Standard Bank. I would have also preferreed my OWN banking consultant contacting me regarding my account. Not someone, who I have no idea if he even exists, and by his telephone manner, don't know if this was a bona fide call from Standard Bank? Dr Chett
