Worst client service I have ever encountered with any financial institution.
My company has been banking with Standard Bank for many years. They use to be a great bank year back. But lately they have unprofessional staff that can just not get the job done. They say that they have business counters to make business banking more efficient... There is nothing efficient with regards to the business counters. The personal works extremely slowly. She takes twice the time of any other cashier. And she is always chatting away with non-clients. And when she attend to you she makes you understand that she is doing you a favour by attending to you. I feel that the service is so slow, that it is becoming a danger for me to go to Standard bank. I stand in the queue for almost an hour with thousands of rands, with no one to assist me in getting a deposit made as soon as possible. Today after standing in the bank for an hour, I was sent away because they were off line. So with thousands of rands I was sent out of the bank. Had to drive back and lock it in our save... How is this save and secure banking? I cannot wait to close and move our business accounts away for Standard Bank.
