On an account I have closed

On 31 July 2013 04:05 PM I sent a request to RCS cards to close my account after I had paid it off then on On Thursday, August 1, 2013 I received a confirmation email from Pumla at RCS that the account was successfully closed then today I receive an sms notication while sitting at home about a transaction going off on the very account that I have closed, at africom international, I called the call centre to query this transaction and now Bulelwa is telling me I need to provide an affidavit and copy of my I.D for my query to be investigated what nonsense is this why should I be running around to provide proof that I did not make a purchase with my RCS card, I thought a closed account renders it inactive meaning transactions can no longer go off on it.
Below is the sms in question:
"RCS CARD: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE AT AFRICOM INTERNA ON CARD... 1821 FOR R2478.50 ON 11-09-2013 AT 18:23. AVAIL CREDIT R531. FOR QUERIES CALL 0861028889"

PLEASE FIX THIS I PAID OFF AND CLOSED THIS ACCOUNT I DON'T NEED A HEADACHE FROM IT!!!
