CASH DEPOSIT MONIES MISSING

On 2013-05-10 I deposited a cash amount of R807 into The College of Cape Towns account at the ABSA Bank branch in Pinelands, Cape Town to enable me to register for part time studies.

To date the college has not seen any monies deposited into their account by me. Upon investigating I found that the ABSA teller assistant that helped me on the day could not find any records of my transaction and the fact that I had misplaced my copy of the deposit slip did not make matters any easier.

It has been up to 5 weeks since I have lodged the inquest into the matter with ABSA and to date I have had no joy. This has resulted in me not being able to complete my studies.

I would highly appreciate it if someone more senior than the teller assistant could handle the situation and resolve it more efficiently than the staff at ABSA Pinelands.

How does such an established institution loose a clients monies?

The only proof that I have that I deposited the monies is my Standard Bank statement which shows that I withdrew the cash from my account minutes before going to ABSA to deposit it.

ABSA Bank, PLEASE FIND MY MONIES SO THAT I CAN COMPLETE MY STUDIES.
