Credit Limit Increase declined

Early in 2012 i was offered a credit card from Nedbank. I took up the offer and late last year requested a limit increase with no hassle. I then again requested a limit increase as it was still low credit in April or may sometime and was informed that i need to call in again within 3 months or so. I called in two weeks ago, verified a few details and this time i was told it will take 2-3 days where i will be notified either telephonically or by sms.

Week went by and did not hear anything and i decided to call back in. Consultant then informed me because of the NCR the limit increase has been declined and cannot divulge any other info. I am currently looking for a home and was told Nedbank Homeloan is currently the great value banking solutions. I was going to persue my offer to purchase through Nedbank as i was referred by one of the consultants and explained why its best to take my homeloan up with Nedbank. If i am being declined for a simple credit card i guess its not worth waisting my energy and rather opt out and take it up with my other financial institution. I am highly dissapointed and reffered family and friends to Nedbank, now i am regretting this.
