After having lodged a complaint about trying to institute a claim, one would think all would go smoothly... not the case! Despite confirming a time for pickup, the courier then arrives 4 hours late, and it is impossible to try and reach someone regarding this prior. The courier arrives during a storm, without documentation (saying the waybills got wet due to being on a scooter). He then allays my fears by saying there is a van downstairs for transport, which will package the laptop (since I pointed out I was told to remove protective casing and not package). His supervisor calls an hour later (not knowing the item had been fetched) & confirms there WAS no van. I've still not ascertained what punitive measures were taken in response.
I've then received written confirmation on Monday via Justin saying, "I would like to cnfirm that your laptop is repairable and that I have given the service provider the go ahead to order the parts. There is an estimate of 2-3 days for these to arrive. You will have your laptop back before the close of the week."
I've been trying to reach Justin since Mon to ascertain more details. Now the end of the week, & no laptop, & an infuriating reason why!
