Both mine and my boyfriends cars are covered with King Price. My S3 and tab were covered and specified. Having worked in the short term insurance industry i am well aware of the T&Cs that apply with each claim.
On Friday night one of our cars were broken into by a very crafty and experienced criminal - none of the windows were broken and the locks were not damaged!!
We were parked outside Ellis Park stadium, i locked the car myself... being aware of where we were i double checked that the door was locked!!! We got back at 21:30 and the door was unlocked, my Tab was in my cubby along with the other items taken (not mentioned as they were not covered). My boyfriend's stock in his boot was taken - they opened the boot with the access button inside the car.
We went to the police station the next morning to report the incident - on the report it states these exact facts!! I could have, i could have said that the window was broken, i could have said that the locks were tampered with. We told the truth as it happened!!! I PAY MY PREMIUMS EVERY MONTH, I have never claimed in my life - this is a R8000.00 claim I've paid that a few times over!!!
This is actually cruel, i feel sick!
